My daughter, Ahana, as the name suggests has been a ray of light in my life. When I think about my daughter it brings to my mind the memory of holding her very first time close to my chest and feeling her tiny fingers. I remember how my heart seemed to suddenly swell with the overwhelming emotion of becoming a mother.

Life has changed so much since she has arrived; all my clothes now smell of Johnson’s baby and I could feel that sweet baby smell coming from me all day long. From buying designer saree’s to baby gear, from reading fashion magazines to baby care tips, from singing romantic songs to rhymes, from parlor visits to pediatrician appointments, my life has totally changed.

My cutest bundle of joy who is too busy in eating, sleeping and pooping needs round-the-clock care and undivided attention, life becomes super busy and at times you may experience baby blues. But at the end of the day when you see your baby giggle with glee, all you experience is sheer bliss.

Becoming a mommy is a joyful feeling though it comes with its share of responsibilities but you realize the bond between a mother and child is the most unbreakable bond in the world.
